Sections and their family members who had joined for the trip from Chandigarh to Kasauli were hoping that Sunday turns out to be a happy and funny day; after all nobody wants to travel on a hot day. Hopes were shattered when the sun showed and we started sweating before they could start-off for the trip. That was a humid day altogether. Still there was hope that the climate may have something wonderful in store for us.
The tourist sources like buses started and the breeze gave some relief from sweat. As the bus passed through the streets of Chandigarh, Pinjore, and Kalka, people got busy chatting enjoying the scenic beauties and them feeling relax. Within around one hour we reached Chakki ka Mod. Chakki ka Mod was the area that was selected as a venue for our breakfast. While the enough enjoyed and explored the place, the cooks who came with us got busy preparing the breakfast. It was noticed that everyone including me was so hungry that as soon as the tables were laid with the somas and sandwiches, we pounced on top of another to fill our table. We stopped at Chakki ka Mod for around a 2 hour and then move-off for Kasauli.
The road trip from Chandigarh to Kasauli and back was a convenient drive. It is single one road trip which I would recommend to people who are looking for travel destinations to take their children (or infants) out on a holiday from Chandigarh for the change. This Chandigarh to Kasauli road trip can also be done on Single weekend only.
